The old apple tree is blooming, our largest fruit tree. We will not get to eat its fruit, for the most part.

This apple tree is for the crows, the jays and the squirrels. I don’t know how to keep them away from the fruit. The tree is too large for me to cover with netting, and too close to taller trees for a successful squirrel barrier. I rather enjoy the beautiful flowers and let them take the fruit. Aren’t these flowers beautiful?
