Do you save your own seed each year for this variety? Peppers do have a tendency to cross, even with hot peppers in the garden, which can turn them spicy when the crossed seeds are planted. Just a thought!

That is a pretty basket full. My last peppers I had to pick green as they wouldn’t turn before the first frost.

No frost until the end of October is pretty good, now you’ll be enjoying all the tomatoes you’ve preserved.

Green is the best, but all green gets a little tiring after a while. I hope your chard holds up for a while longer…

Yes, we shouldn’t complain to much but after a while all those brassicas and quenopods do get a bit boring. Anyway, we can preserve the nightshades to provide a bit of splash in the winter.
